The Van Briggle Pottery Company made a large variety of novelty items over the years. From trays, bookends, customized mugs, incense burners and flowers frogs they made a wide variety of novelty items. Some were made in limited numbers by special commission.

Custom tankards were made for Colorado College fraternities, community picnic's and BBQ's in the early 1900's. These remain scarce due to limited production. In later years mug sets were sold with individual names on them. Local organizations also ordered small mugs to commemorate an event or business. These were also made in limited numbers and remain relatively scarce.
